I am an American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer (since 2003). After graduating from the University of Sioux Falls, I worked as a Personal Trainer at the Avera McKennan Fitness Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for 7.5 years. After this, I worked for a Nutrition Company for the next 6 years, and I currently own/operate Kathy Kemper Fitness where I offer competition coaching, posing sessions, pageant fitness coaching, personal training/lifestyle transformations, and nutrition consulting.
I have been competing in figure competitions since 2011 and earned my International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) professional status in 2017.
I am also the Vice District Chairperson for the NPC in North Dakota.
A few highlights include:
Class A 1st place: NPC Rock Solid Championships, 2011
Class C 1st place: NPC Minnesota State Championships 2011
Class B 1st place and overall winner: NPC Upper Midwest Championships, 2013
Class A 1st place and overall winner: NPC Jay Cutler Desert Classic Las Vegas, 2013
Class C: 5th place NPC Universe 2016
Class C: 2nd place IFBB North Americans 2016
Class C: 1st place and Masters Overall Champion: NPC Universe 2017 – resulting in IFBB Pro Status
